I have specialized in Christian eschatology (the study of "last things"--Bible prophecy) all of my adult life. Bible prophecy has greatly strengthened my faith in God the Father and his Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. Theologically, I am a former Dispensationalist and thus a former pretribulationalist. I am now a posttribulational premillennialist, also called historic premillennialism. (Sorry for all these big words.) This website will be dedicated exclusively to a series of several nonfiction books I am writing on Bible prophecy. This series is called Still Here as an alternative to the bestselling fiction series Left Behind. As with Left Behind, Still Here refers to the interpretation of Bible prophecy that I will be advocating in these books. Left Behind signifies pretribulationism; Still Here designates posttribulationism. That is, Left Behind indicates that just prior to the tribuation all genuine Christians will be raptured to heaven, whereas all other people will be left behind on earth to endure severe suffering. In contrast, Still Here indicates that everyone, including all Christians, will be still here during the tribulation and that at the end of it all of God's people still living, as well as those now resurrected, will be caught up into the sky to meet Jesus at his second coming. The earth logo, with its graphics and text, located in the upper left of all web pages on this website represents the symbol for this Still Here series. Most of these Still Here books will feature some cryptic element in this logo. As each Still Here book becomes available, return to this website to see an explanation of that element to be posted at that time on the webpage "Logo Explained." Several books are planned in this Still Here series. I have been working on this material since the early 1970s. That is when I changed to become a historic premillennialist.
